Alea kitchen by Varenna (Poliform)

The Alea kitchen by Varenna (Poliform) was designed by Paolo Piva and is a superb example of pared back simplicity.

This beautifully designed kitchen features a recessed aluminium handle detail to the floor cabinets. The fronts of the floor cabinets have been finished in an Oak veneer. The counter top is also finished in Oak veneer and is 52mm thick.

The wall and tall cabinets are finished in a high gloss acrylic lacquer which is far more forgiving than brittle, polyurethane and acid catalysed paints. The lacquer is applied in a 4 step mechanical process and the finish has to be seen to be believed.
