Designer Plus draws the cabinets through the use of menus where you select the type, style and modifications. Designer Plus operates inside of DesignCAD 3D, a CAD program from IMSI. Drawing a cabinet requires only two points to establish the location and width; the rest is menu driven!
Designer Plus offers a low cost approach for drawing custom applications requiring case goods. Designer Plus can create 3D line drawings as good as any similar program on the market. Designer Plus can create a cabinet list for pricing/ordering, and if desired a parts list for the cabinets and doors, or doors list for ordering. These lists are ASCII text files that can be used in other programs such as a spreadsheet. Drawings made with Designer Plus and DesignCAD can be exported to AutoCAD and high-end rendering engines if photo realistic renderings are desired. Besides construction drawings for the shop Designer Plus can also create shaped door patterns for building doors.
