Here is a great small kitchen idea from the Spanish designer Attua Aparicio Torinos

It is a smartly designed kitchen table that simply slides into a cabinet when not in use. Of course it wouldn't look too good in a french provincial style kitchen but hey, if your into modern kitchen design this would certainly be ideal.
