Kitchen Appliances - Gaggenau LiftMatic Oven
Here is an innovative concept in kitchen oven design. The Gaggenau Liftmatic oven is an interesting alternative to traditional ovens on the market as it opens from the bottom rather than the front.
When an oven door is opened, all of the heat escapes. And as you all know, hot air rises so by using a LiftMatic oven none of the heat escapes as the hot air always stays inside.
The LiftMatic oven features a sleek stainless steel exterior and tinted glass. At the push of a button the base of the oven will lower itself towards your countertop so that your cooking dishes can be easily loaded / unloaded. It features 11 different types of cooking methods and incorporates halogen lighting.
To me it looks a rebadged version of the Siemens LiftMatic and Bosch Liftmatic ovens but who cares, they all look fantastic.
Just remember to keep glassware away from the underside of the oven before you push that button...

That’s pretty smart! (and it looks great)
To be able to have a lift door on your oven is remarkable…..there is such a wide array of kitchen appliances, styles, colors, shapes that this was only a matter of time.
