Kitchen Cabinet Installation - The Roles Of The Kitchen Contractors
Kitchen Cabinet Installation
If you are building a new kitchen and you are organising the kitchen contractors you will require the participation of a team of people with differing areas of expertise. The kitchen cabinet installation process requires careful planning. Here is a list of what each kitchen contractor does.
Site Checker
The site checker is responsible for measuring your kitchen space and checks to see if the kitchen design will fit. The site checker will also look for unseen problems.
Kitchen Installation Team
The kitchen installation team will remove the old kitchen and install your new kitchen. They will liaise with the other kitchen contractors to make sure that the kitchen installation will proceed quickly and smoothly.
Electrician
The electrician will 'rough in' all electrical services after the old kitchen is removed and comes back to 'fix off' after the new kitchen cabinets and countertops are installed.
Plumber
The plumber will 'rough in' all plumbing services after the old kitchen is removed and comes back to 'fix off' after the new kitchen cabinets and countertops are installed.
Tiler
The tiler will prepare floors and walls for tiling. Tiled splashbacks are completed after the kitchen cabinets are installed.
