MyHome website launched
Myhome.com.au has launched a new website for people who are buying, selling or renting a home in Australia.
Myhome offers a personalised approach to finding, capturing and storing valuable information required to make the important decision of buying or renting a home. It uses Microsoft Virtual Earth and you can view the map as a street map, satellite image or a combination of the two.
There is a scrapbook section where you can save your favourite properties and an update section where you can check price changes or new listings.
The navigation needs getting used to other than that it is a great site. Myhome

Another website that does the Private Sales by owner is http://www.forsalebyowner.com.au it is a new website, but it is getting a steady stream of ads listing on there. Yes I do work for them (as the webmaster) but I believe it offers an alternative to paying for something that people are often not happy with.
And it would be remiss not to include the best private sale website in Australia in this list of real estate private sale websites.
Here’s why:-
The PropertyNow network lets people list on all their own 6 sites free of charge for as long as needed.
What really makes PropertyNow stand out even more is that they also place private sellers on domain,homehound and justlisted.
Put simply the For sale by owner clients who use PropertyNow’s full service get more exposure than most agents can even get their commissioned clients.
Just like the post above I too must also confess to being the owner of PropertyNow but everything said in this post is both authentic and accurate and I really don’t know of a private selling site offering greater value.
The site has been operating for 2 years and private sellers are shocked at what it can do for them as they have gotten used to being left of the big portals unless they list with an agent and pay a commission.
