Kitchen Planner - Bunnings Flatpax Kitchens

Bunning's Warehouse now has a kitchen planner for their Flatpax kitchen range. It is very easy to use and the kitchen planner will guide you step by step along the way. It is a great way to visualise your new kitchen as well as give you an accurate price for your kitchen renovation.

Here are the steps required to create your perfect kitchen using the kitchen planner.

Kitchen Room Shape

Select the shape of your kitchen (rectangular or L shaped) and drag the arrows (on the kitchen walls) to adjust the size of you room. You can also adjust the size of the room by clicking the measurements and directly inputting the size in the text field

Kitchen Layout

Once you have defined your kitchen floor plan you can select a kitchen layout to place within the room. You can choose a galley kitchen, L shaped kitchen, staright line kitchen, U shaped kitchen or an open plan kitchen

Kitchen Style

The next step is to style your kitchen. Choose your Flatpax benchtop colour from the wide range available. Then mix and match it with a Flatpax door colour and style to create your ideal combination. If you need inspiration you can choose from many style suggestions on their site.

Kitchen Design

To design your kitchen simply drag and drop the kitchen cabinets, panel ends and appliances from the tabbed menu bar. You can also rotate the kitchen cabinets and appliances too. As you drag and drop the cabinets onto the plan a running total of the kitchen is automatically created in the shopping list section.

3D View

When you are happy with your kitchen design click on the 3D View icon. Click and drag on the preview icon to see your kitchen from various angles.

Save and Print

Now that you have created your kitchen design you can save it on the Bunning's website or email it to yourself. You can also print out the kitchen design along with a shopping list costing out all the required kitchen cabinetry, benchtops and appliances.

Kitchen storage racks are handy for ease of access to often used items in the kitchen such as plates, kitchen cookware (pots, pans, lids) and glassware.

Kitchen storage racks can be hung from the ceiling, fitted inside kitchen cabinets, placed upon the countertop or under the countertop. They are often used for decoration, giving a kitchen a certain look  for example an old ladder suspended from the ceiling for hanging pots and pans in a farmhouse style kitchen.

One of the benefits of using kitchen storage racks is gaining additional storage space where one would not normally think about. Behind a pantry door for example... they can be screwed to the back of a pantry door and light items such as herbs and spices, plastic containers etc can be placed inside them.

They can be made of metal, stainless steel, wood and plastic as well as other materials.
