Refrigerator Drawers – Sub-Zero 700BR
Sub-Zero is a brand of luxury domestic 'professional style' kitchen appliances and they have developed a great idea for 'point of use' refrigeration anywhere in the home.
Fully integrated refrigerator drawers. Woohoo! Straight away I'm thinking 'Yeah, how about my bed side table, or the drawers in my home office, or the drawers in my bathroom. Any of those places would be suitable for storing my beer nice and cold!' :)
'Hang on a minute. What about using the refrigerator drawers in the kitchen?' Oh the mind boggles.....
The 700BR - Integrated Refrigeration / Base Refrigeration Unit from Sub-Zero pretty much gives you infinite possibilities when it comes to kitchen design.
The fridge drawers feature
- electronic controls accessed from the top drawer
- internal lighting
- an alarm if you leave the drawer open
- low running costs

Subzero refrigerators are not so hot! My first one caused a major mold problem and a insurance settlement that went on for 8 ugly months.
I was given a “good deal” by subzero to replace the faulty one & the new model that’s suppose to be improved is NOISY!! Excessively Noisy!
In fact I am not going to keep it & it’s less than a year old!
Now I’m on a search for a new fully integrated frig, perhaps the newly released Miele.
Hopefully it’ll be a quieter and more efficent unit.
Thought I’d share my personal experience with Subzero.
hi linda
i was just wondering what you paid for it
