Sharp KB-6015KS Microwave Drawer
Take a look at the world's first microwave drawer.
The Sharp Insight Pro Microwave Drawer is an innovative kitchen appliance as it placed at the ideal height for convenient, frequent use cooking.
Sharp has made microwave cooking more safer because there is no need to remove the dish from the oven to check, stir or turn the food!
Apparently the microwave drawer opens at the touch of a button. My concern is what happens to liquids when the drawer is opened. Does it tend to slosh around?
The operating controls are angled upwards for convenient and easy use.

I’m not sure how ideal that height is for shooting radiation at me, I think I’ll keep mine on the counter for a few more years… until I’m done having kids!
Wow, what a great idea.
This is a great idea and I was hoping to include one in my upcoming kitchen renovation. Due to some reports indicating a 2007 Australian release by Sharp, I contacted the company today to inquire as to it’s release date. I was told by Sharp Sales and Marketing that there were, in fact, no plans to bring the microwave drawer to the Australian market at this time. What a pity. Now it’s back to the drawing board!
Dear Pete, microwaves do not emit radation. If they did don’t you think they would be off the market. I think this is great product and am planning to put it in my new kitchen!!!!!
